A distinguished faculty of experts welcome you to join them at the Ninth Sheffield Diabetes Masterclass on Wednesday 25 October 2017, 9am-4.20pm at the Hilton Hotel, Victoria Quays, Sheffield.
The number of people with diabetes is increasing at an alarming rate and represents one of the biggest public health challenges of the 21st Century. This will unfortunately mean more diabetic complications unless we live up to the challenge of managing diabetes effectively. This one day symposium on Achieving Best Practice in diabetes will aim to update health care professionals involved in the management of diabetic patients both in primary care and hospital practice. A panel of UK speakers will address:
- New therapies for Type 2 diabetes
- Managing difficult diabetes (cases)
- Managing Diabetic Nephropathy
- Management of Diabetic Neuropathies and The Diabetic Foot
- Management of Diabetes in the Community
There will be a mixture of plenary sessions from experts as well as interactive workshops.
