Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, is investing up to £2 million in stage 1 of the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund Healthy Ageing Trailblazers.
The aim of the Trailblazers is to encourage businesses and public sector led collaborations, including social enterprises, to develop and demonstrate how products, services and business models which support people as they age will be adopted at scale.
D4D acts as a catalyst for the development of technology-dependent interventions for chronic health conditions associated with loss of dignity and independence, and poor health outcomes, by establishing multi-disciplinary collaborations.
If you are considering submitting a Trailblazer application, D4D may be able to collaborate with you to increase your chance of success. We are happy to consider collaborations with UK-based businesses, public sector organisations or social enterprises with a market-ready innovation and identified business model, and with a focus on one or more of the following themes:
- Sustaining physical activity
- Managing common complaints of ageing
- Living well with cognitive impairment
If you would like us to consider working with you, please submit a collaboration request here and quote ‘Trailblazer’ in your submission. For more information about the call, click here.
