Welcome to the Starworks Innovation Project:
We are a young people’s prosthetics research collaboration and will bring children and their families together with key opinion leaders from the NHS, Industry, Clinical Academia and leading National Research Centres with capabilities in child prosthetics.
The collaboration will increase research across the system in order to accelerate the translation of new inventions and developments in child prosthetics into everyday use. This initiative will be centred on the needs of children and their families as well as the NHS and will ensure there is the ideal balance of ‘clinical pull’ and ‘technical push’ to create an energetic environment in which to innovate and to partner with industry.
The first stage will undertake a needs assessment and this will identify what the needs are within the 4 priority areas below. Scroll down for more information and to find out how you can get involved.

The results of this needs assessment will be used to stimulate new research activity to meet the identified needs of children, their families and the NHS and will lead to targeted funding for areas of research within our larger sandpit events coming in the Autumn 2017, to register interest for these events contact email@example.com
