On Friday 29th March 2019, Devices for Dignity’s Digital Health Lead, Dr Angel Jimenez-Aranda, presented at the launch of the NIHR i4i Challenge Award competition to support real world implementation and development of clinical evidence for innovative medtech technologies.

Dr Jimenez-Aranda provided insight into the evaluation methodology and lessons learned during the real-world testing of self-management technologies in the Sheffield City Region as part of the Perfect Patient Pathway NHS England Wave 1 Test Bed, and said “Innovation is essential to enabling NHS offer high quality services and respond to the growing demand. This new call from NIHR i4i supports real-world evaluations of medtech innovations in healthcare settings. This approach will accelerate the implementation of innovative solutions in the clinical practice to support patients and healthcare professionals. Devices for Dignity has a very positive track record in i4i calls, and we are interested to collaborate with industry in this new call”
