Opportunities in medtech innovation: long-term neurological conditions webinar – 9th July

NIHR Devices for Dignity are proud to be partnering with Medilink East Midlands on Thursday 9th July to host our “Opportunities in medtech innovation: long-term neurological conditions” webinar.

People living with long-term neurological conditions (including MND, MS, Parkinson’s Disease, or stroke), are reported to have the lowest health-related quality of life of any long-term condition, with the numbers of people affected continuing to rise. As society and healthcare systems respond and adapt to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, this webinar is an opportunity for innovators to:

  • understand the key challenges affecting patients & the health and care system,
  • learn about the market for technology solutions within new models of care & self-management, &
  • connect with collaborative networks to catalyse & advance product innovation.

Webinar participants will include Professor Christopher McDermott, Professor of Translational Neurology at SiTRAN (University of Sheffield) & Consultant Neurologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, and members of the Devices for Dignity expert network of people with lived experience – Pamela Goff and Philip Morris.

The webinar will take place on Thursday 9th July from 11am – 12pm – to register please visit https://www.medilinkem.com/event/webinar-opportunities-in-medtech-innovation-long-term-neurological-conditions/
