SPECIAL ISSUE OF JOURNAL OF MEDICAL ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY
The Special Issue presents articles led and written by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Devices for Dignity MedTech Co-operative (D4D) and the NIHR Children and Young People MedTech Co-operative.
D4D have collaborated with our partner MIC, also based in Sheffield, to produce a special issue of Journal of Medical Engineering & Technology. The collaboration allowed us to take a ‘whole life course’ perspective when reflecting on the challenges and opportunities of MedTech today.
The Special Issue hosts a range of topics, including usability engineering, telehealth, robotics, patient and public involvement and co-design, as well as case studies in the contexts of paediatric prosthetics, neurological conditions, stroke and diabetes.
All the articles in the issue are open access and are available via the link below.
