On 3 March, Oliver Wells, D4D’s Commercial Director, had an opportunity to tell 15 international health experts from the Department of International Trade about the work of D4D and the other NIHR Healthcare Technology Cooperatives.
The strong message from D4D and the HTCs is of the value of cooperation and the strong links we have forged with other parts of the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR). D4D already has a track record of welcoming and working with businesses from across the world.
This discussion was part of a presentation of the amazing range of innovative life science work going on in the north of England, with contributions from David Moore (Leeds City Region) and Dr Mike Messenger, our colleague from the NIHR Leeds DEC, and visits to a number of local life science organisations.
We look forward to hearing from new companies across the world who are hoping to work with D4D to continue meeting the unmet needs of patients – wherever they may be.
